About the position:
Known is looking for an experienced Senior Social Strategist, a leader to own and execute Known’s social strategy initiatives. As a senior social strategist you will be in charge of creating all client social strategy from concept to completion. This is a strategic role that will require a dynamic and creative storyteller who is autonomous in their work and has a minimum of 6 years of experience
In this role, you will use instincts, insights and cultural research to develop high-value content as well as quick content with high impact. You are both a curator and a creator. You get excited thinking about building social presence into a sought after platform and a beloved destination for key audiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Write and develop comprehensive social creative briefs and RFPs based on consumer mindsets and brand goals, collaborating with our creative team to produce social specific content.
Lead and confidently pitch RFPs, creative briefs and social media strategies to clients as a representative of the Known social team.
Develop and ideate organic social media and content strategies cross key channels, including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and Twitter, in support of clients' business goals.
Work with wider teams in Client Experience, Strategy, Creative and clients teams, and provide guidance on social as a part of a larger integrated experience.
Establish the right KPI dashboards and reports, calculating and reporting out on these metrics in weekly, monthly and ad-hoc/campaign reviews, identifying underlying trends and actionable insights to continually improve.
Help our clients understand what our world is saying: utilize listening insights & social listening tools to develop thoughtful and consistent content and provide feedback to the rest of the team.
Effectively engage with and cultivate audiences across social platforms, driving audience growth, brand awareness and engagement.
Conceptualize and produce dynamic visual content & creative campaigns, including asset creation and in-house photoshoots for social channels, as well as write and edit all social copy, adjusting tone of voice for each specific channel.
Work alongside Customer Experience leads to grow and moderate Known’s digital. Identify and propose new, innovative social media campaigns and initiatives to take our clients to the next level driving both awareness & conversion.
Partner with our Influencer and Client Experience teams to develop and execute paid and organic UGC / content strategy.
Identify, evaluate, and action channel expansion to better meet our target customer and expand our brand reach across existing and emerging social media platforms.
Facilitate social listening, helping ensure customer sentiment is woven into everything that we do.
Proactively develop best practices and standards to ensure we can scale our social media & content strategy, including evaluating and integrating any software tools to help support and identify actionable consumer insights, competitive analysis, category & cultural trends.
Qualifications:
6 - 8 years of social media experience within entertainment or consumer brands.
Impeccable written communication skills, especially as it relates to brand and product storytelling on social.
Experience leading teams.
Elevated creative eye and aesthetic with skills in photo, video, and design preferred.
Proficient in social media tools such as Planoly.
Passion for exciting & engaging consumers.
Have the ability to analyze metrics to drive actionable next steps.
